The exclusive collaboration

It doesn't limit itself to our constant research and study to make Japanese drinking tea known in Italy but also to encourage meetings between people and to make innovations that promote a different and more current approach  to the tea industry in Japan.

Destination

SHIZUOKA

TEACOOD discovered the activity of a tea dye craftsman, Washizu, known as Washizu-san,  thanks to him we were able to admire  the artisanal technique born from his direct approach to tea dyeing, the lineage of the family tradition he inherited, as old as  over 100 years and the fact that it has created a sustainable and consistent cycle in tea dyeing technique, where the raw tea material is properly returned to the ground after dyeing.

MEETING

It is precisely the shared passion across cultures, fabrics, style and fashion that united us for the creation of an exclusive collaboration.

The brand has quickly established itself as one of the reference brands for fashion in Italy, the vintage style that creates personality.

Project

TEA SHIRT : Limited Edition

The Japanese tea dye that achieves the complete cycle of sustainability.

Thus was born the creation of Japanese tea-dyed T-Shirts, thanks to another precious collaboration with the craftsman Washizu-san.

The "tea dyeing" technique was invented by combining Japanese Suruga dyeing, a traditional craft designated by Shizuoka City, and the tea industry, Shizuoka's greatest resource.

Washizu-san's work inspired us to present his creations in Italy promoting them as a part of the current Japanese tea culture.
